R.I.P.

I didn't post yesterday because I hadn't slept in a couple days, and was unable to think/function in a normal way.

But, I wanted just wanted to say, R.I.P Layne Staley (1967-2002) and Kurt Cobain
(1967-1994), who both died on April 5th, but in different years.

April 5th is always an incredibly hard day, due to the fact that two amazing and brilliant people were lost for no reason at all. The world was privileged to have them, and will never be the same without them.

They will always be remembered, and they will live on forever through their music.

R.I.P. Kurt and Layne, and thank you.

RIP indeed. It's not fair. Like they say, only the good die young.

:(

*sigh*

I hate April. It's depressing. Especially this year.

Can you believe it's been 15 years since Kurt died?

i know. i was really thinking about it and how horrible it is that he's been gone almost as long as how old we are. you know. just a little bit less. we shared the earth with him briefly, but we couldn't even enjoy his music.

layne staley. i can't get over the coincidence.

bummer :(

Yes Indeed!
It is amazing to me that someone of you age gets the 90's scene!

illy-doll, I know. I really, really know. It's like, all of these brilliant people had to pay some sick price for their...brilliance? And it's not fair at all.

We can enjoy their music now, and I guess it's immortal in that sense. We all know it's not going to die. It never will, because we are keeping it alive and breathing everyday. It's just...why did they have to die like that?

Basically, I HATE APRIL.
