I just got done loading up the black and white film in my new Ricoh XR7. Teresa gave it to me on Tuesday at Barnes & Noble, and I am already completely in love with it. I'm going to go out on Friday and take a bunch of photos with it, and get the hang of it. <3's for Teresa!
I've also been working on spinning my own fiber, which is going okay too. I'm not the greatest so far...the picture above is my first spinning endeavor. I'm going to keep practicing because its tons of fun and I like doing it.

:O Your new camera looks awesome Nadiah! I'd just adore to get my hands on what's now consider to be an "old fashioned" film camera. You're putting in black & white film too - Ultra-Vintage :). We'll be doing "wet" (analog) photography in my course the term after next.
Are you going to learn to develop the film yourself?
Spinning your own fibres sounds fun too! I can imagine it would be a bit tricky though. How is business?
I know, I am so excited about it. A friend of mine actually found this at a thrift store for 10 dollars! That's awesome that you are going to do wet photography. You will definitely have to blog that-it's awesome! I really want to learn how to develop the film myself too, so I probably will give it a try. :)
Business is okay, it's always really booming in the fall/winter, and it slows a bit down when the weather starts to warm up. I haven't exactly been the most motivated person in the world either. But it's coming along. :)
